take a step back in my life  Kenora Summer 2005!!! so much to write about...i will start with my last couple nights in London. Another night out with my classmates. All that needs to be said about that - Oh man - that guys lies alot/i hate that guy! Brian in a cement block! Jenns Birthday - kind of a bust - but still fun. Ive been to Club Pheinox - scary. Handbone was there! And then theres Kenora - i was the one that had to be forced out tonight - Thats Shocking! Haps = bust Milltown = Haps Staff PArty!!! Ryan Pernsky is a dancing machine, and they played all the songs we requested!! (footloose(which we are singing on Wednesday), Rock Your Body and Stuck in the Middle) So tonight = good first night back. Altho i was here 2 weeks ago, this time feels like an actually visit home. The last time was just a drunken 72 hrs blur. I heart Kenora Tomorrow = run, coney island, tattoos?, bonefire, strippers? I have successfully completed my first 6 months of police foundations. Well i can't really say successful yet, don't have any marks back - but i did write my last exam this morning (hungover and tired). So i'm done! done! for 3 weeks. And then its back to the grind. Its pretty intense when you shove a 2 year program into 12 months. Work overload. First day back = drill practise? Can't picture myself doing that, or wearing a uniform everyday - which also starts in 3 weeks. I think i'm in over my head. but its too late now i guess. So now the craziness begins. Actually it started on Sunday with our first class party (the other one is tonight) Some classmates came over here to drink and then we head for Kareokee! Drunkest night ever. We sang footloose! My first time ever singing in public. It was hilarious, but apparentely we sounded good. Kara didnt even remember singing it. The rest of the night is kind of a blur....there was an almost fight, a blurry walk home, people came back here after the bar, why was there pounce in the hallway? and who was the stranger in my room? - someone ran into Jenns room and asked if there was any humping going on (you would understand if you knew the sign on her door...the Do Not Hump sign still exists) We had it narrowed down to either Sean or Leo and then Leo confessed that it was him because he remembers running into every room. It was a pretty crazy night - Cape Bretoners have stated that it was the funnest night they have had out since moving to London - we know how to throw a party! So now the weekend - tonight = second class gathering tomorrow = driving 2 people from my class to the airport in toronto and then back to london to meet up with Jenn to go to Sarnia and the back to London before 9am on Saturday for staff training and then celebrating jenns birthday And then Monday = Kenora! again! I don't know if i can take much more of this. Another successful weekend in Kenora. I can't believe i leave tomorrow! - but i need too, this city will be the death of me. I would be content if i never drank again. And those are some pretty strong words coming from me. I have consumed unhealthy amounts of alcohol in the last two days. I really should be passed out face down in a ditch somewhere. Friday night: Haps Blast! Everyone was there finally. There was alot of hugs and kisses. In Matts words "Dustin was the drunkest guy in Canada" There was dancing, and alot of sitting, some weird Carbomb type shooters that made me cringe, and the cute tourist in the red hoodie who i think i should marry. He was beeeeautiful and young. And then there was last night: BBq a la Kims My tip to everyone - if someone ever says "lets drink absinthe tonight" walk away. WALK AWAY!! Why do i have blue stamps all over my arms? It tastes like gasoline, never tried gasoline but i'm sure thats what it tastes like. It actually burns your insides. Wait - just remember i peed on library property last night - sorry danielle. Its unforunate that people had to see me in that shape last night - i took a nap on Kims shoulder on the way home. I was trying my hardest not a throw up. And i was successful! I did however pass out with all my clothes on - my purse was still in my hand. I fiddled with the dj computer thing - playing songs i wanted to hear such as queen and stuck in the middle with you And rock your body. But "DJ Pepsi" who is a homo, found out and took them all off. Never leave your stuff unattended! Leigha fell and then continued to dance. I wonder what ever happened to her? She was doing this crazy breakdance/runningman/iveinjuredmyleftle I hit on Jared, which i usually do. Gave Mike Weldon a hard time. I really don't remember anything else. Feel free too fill in the blanks. 1 week! This time next week i will be in Kenora, dipping into the beer fridge I'm sure. eep! 1.smoked a cigarette - a couple minutes ago 2.smoked a cigar- actually i think i did after high school graduation 3.made out with a member of the same sex – nope - 4.crashed a friend's car - No 5.stolen a car – No 6.been in love – not really 7.been dumped – not really 8.shoplifted - nope 9.been fired - No 10.been in a fist fight – kinda with danielle - and i broke one up last weekend! 11.snuck out of your house – nope - i never had to - i had danielles house 12.had feelings for someone who didnt have them back - Yes - who hasn't? 13.been arrested - No 14.made out with a stranger- Yes - at a collective soul concert, beat that 15.gone on a blind date – no, that would make me sick 16.lied to a friend – of course, everyone has 17.had a crush on a teacher – No 18.skipped school – and how! 19.slept with a co-worker - co worker - no, classmate - yes 20.seen someone die - No 21.been on a plane - yes, thats actually one of my favorites places to be, so far from everything and everyone 22.thrown up in a bar - nope - pretty impressed with myself - have came close tho 23.taken painkillers - nope 24.love someone or miss someone right now – Yes 25.laid on your back and watched cloud shapes go by – yes, wasted too many hours doing that 26.made a snow angel - Yes 27.played dress up – Yes 28.cheated while playing a game - Yes 29.been lonely - Yes 30.fallen asleep at work/school – big scoop freezer sleeping - it was an art 31.used a fake id - yes - good ol' westhawk 32.felt an earthquake - no 33.touched a snake - no 34.ran a red light – yes 35.been suspended from school- No 36.had detention – Yes 37.been in a car accident - yes - oshawa - albert driving stupid - pita pit - blink 182 blarring - jonny wearing a foam hat and carrying a foghorn - smash - thats my memory 38.hated the way you look- yes 39.witnessed a crime- yes 40.pole danced – no 41.been lost - Yes - so many times in australia - it was a weekly occurence 42.been to the opposite side of the country- west only 43.felt like dying - nope 44.cried yourself to sleep - probably 45.played cops and robbers - yes 46.karaoke – love watching it - can't do it too shy 47.done something you told yourself you wouldn't – oh god yes - put alcohol in me and i lose all reasoning 48.laughed till some kind of beverage came out of your nose – no - but one time i peed a little 49.caught a snowflake on your tongue - Yes 50.kissed in the rain - i dont think - thats despressing 51.sing in the shower - Yes! 52.made love in a park – how about a beach? 53.had a dream that you married someone - no - i'm not marriage material 54.glued your hand to something – too my other hand - that was good times 55.got your tongue stuck to a flag pole- no - too a zipper 56.worn the opposite sex's clothes – yes - i was all about stripped polo shirts 57.been a cheerleader - No 58.sat on a roof top - yes, fond memories of sitting on Big Daves roof while wasted and watching kim put out baby carriage fires 59.didn't take a shower for a week – Yes - for a weekend while camping in Australia 60.ever too scared to watch scary movies alone- i can;t even watch scary mpovies with people around 61.played chicken ? no 62.been pushed into a pool with all your clothes on - yes - not cool 63.been told you're hot by a complete stranger – Yes - and then proposed too 64.broken a bone - No 65.been easily amused - Yes - i like shiny things 66.laugh so hard you cry - oh god - all the time 67.mooned/flashed someone ? nope 68.cheated on a test - Yes - Mr. Delorme never changed his tests and i had a smart older cousin 69.forgotten someone's name - i try not too - but it happens 70.slept naked - Yes 71.gone skinny dipping in a pool - in an ocean 72.been kicked out of your house - No 73.blacked out from drinking - no - but the walk home is always a little foggy 74.played a prank on someone – what do you think we did in residence to kill time? 75. played poker- no Another successful weekend drinking with the boys! I'm so glad Kara is around again - we are fun. I broke up a fight last night? Ryan kinda filled in the blanks - cause i don't actually remember doing it. But i just walked up the stairs and saw a fight and Jesse getting into it, so i pulled him away by his collar and then pulled jon out cause he got punched in the face and was bleeding. - you just jumped in, grabbed people, yelled.. and everyone listened. i think you are officially "the man" - And then i had blood on my shirt and my purse so i was sad. But now at least i feel a little better about being a cop in winnipeg - cause all i'll be doing there is fighting. But it was a good night. Kara got to splash in rain puddles, Theme of the night "can i borrow a feeling?" - apparentely i'm dead inside And then i had to work today - longest day ever. And i'm so behind on homework, but i leave in 10 days! 10 days! I think I'm getting an ulser...this is not worth my time and energy anymore. I quit. Only 15 more days till relaxation starts. Current mood: upset. Current music: new foo fighters cd. Well i'm due for a post - its sunday morning, i'm hungover and should be doing homework but instead i will waste my time updating everyone on my summer. schools still school. losing motivation quickly. stupid amazing summer weather! Canada Day in Ottawa was amazing! Grace rules. We definetely had a giggle-off "roncho relaxo!" Danielle already covered this area - so i will just leave it at that. I miss home. I dont think i have ever been this homesick in my life. I find myself clicking on the city cam on the gokenora site quite often. Too see the lake and boats. 18 more days and i'm home - for the weekend. Can't wait to see summer friends. And finally - when i met the male version of myself i thought it was the best thing ever. Until you realize they also have all the bad qualities you have - stubborn-ness in particular. He has an ugly jealous side, and apparentely i'm a flirt. That my friends is a bad combination. Things were awesome. Then it got a little messy, then it cleared up. And now its a disaster - but a 3am drunken msn conversation - now everything is A ok ? But really when you start dating someone from the proposition of emotion free sex all summer - and theres already emotions involved. how can it be succcessful? Especially when that was all a joke and was never supposed to be heard by him - but was leaked by a mutual friend. in the explaination from ryan - some might say that you guys are definitly not on the same page here..... i, however, am not even sure you guys are in the same book. i concur so in the words of kelso from that 70s show i would like to compare any relationship ive ever had to falling off a water tower - the end kinda sucked... but the fall down was pretty good. So the summary - the summer of Shawndel has had its bumps, but its still going pretty well. Current music: knack - my sharona. 88% average last term. woot! i'm getting good at this police-y stuff, minus the fitness part i've been eating too much ice cream and drinking too much beer that combined with a 1.5 mile run in the heat we had last week = death, orrrrr finishing in 14mins. i hate running. this is definetely turning into the summer of shawndel - plenty of concerts heading my way, lots of patio drinking, getting a healthy amount of action, and two trips to Kenora! I love summer! holy crap weezer and the pixies all wrapped up into one concert dealy@!# and i get presale tickets! this is totally starting to become the summer of shawndel Ok there was this one time that i found the male version of myself and then i keep making out with him is there something wrong with me? |
